A sign of pre-partion in old pindi

last week I went to Kumhar street Gawalmandi to buy clay pots for plants, came across the marble stone embedded on top of small gate depicting previous history of the Gawalmandi area of Rawalpindi. Behind this gate, at the end of the gali and near the bank of lai nala, is an old mander that looks to be inhabited by locals.

Very interesting. I moved to Pindi 2 years back and was planning on going to kumhar gali for some flat clay pots. Will be on the lookout for this sign and the mandir. Thanks for sharing.
