Other Details This vine belongs to the family of periwinkle (sada bahaar), and Plumeria (champa). This vine has beautiful light green glossy leaves and the bright yellow flowers. Given that it is a vigorous climber it can easily overcome any nearby tree. It needs good support to flourish and bloom profusely. Wild Allamanda is a common vine in Pakistani gardens and often sold by this name. However true Allamanda is discussed in a separate entry (see Allamanda). The plant is drought-tolerant; suitable for xeriscaping. Avoid over-watering.
