Growing grapes in Pots

Hi all,

Has anyone grown grapes in pot in lahore? What is your experience?

I was recently told be some gardeners that they are having fruits in a 12 inches pot!!!! Below is the picture of Cholistan grape growers, a private farm in Islamabad.


From where in Lahore, i can get a named variety suitable for pot culture? Which variety is suitable for Lahore?

Good, Its mean we can grow and harvest grapes in pots successfully.

It should do well in a 17"-18" pot as in the picture,rather than 12".I also have one in 18", now about 2 years old, doing well; hopefully should fruit next year.
Do you have the contact of Cholistan Grape Farm; I'll like to discuss some other points with them?

I tried and it was doing well but I noticed that the roots were growing in the ground from the drainage hole

If it is not causing any problem, you could let it grow.
