No, rice husk doesnt have this issue... but it decomposes relatively quickly... nonetheless it is nice medium for soil-less growing

I would suggest to soak rice husk overnight in water to completely absorb water... use Mono Ammonium Phosphate 1 gm in 2 liter twice weekly for one month... this will boost the root growth and after one month you can start 20:20:20...

you can give MAP up to 1.5 gm per liter after one pair of true leaves are developed after germination... 20:20:20 is not suitable for Kratky method... results are not good...nadeem5476 wrote: ↑October 2nd, 2018, 12:04 pm ASSALAM O ALAIKUM , Izhar bhai
if we are starting the plants from seeds in peat moss OR cocopeat then what we should give them with water right after germination ? can we give MAP 1 Gram in 2 litres of water to feed them ? Please advice .
More over , please also advice Regarding German Johnson OR ROMA tomoato , after shifting the seedling to Kratky what nutrients we should give in what PPMs ? i have 20 20 20 with trace elements , how much should b the PPM in the bucket (without airation system)
